Nottingham Forest had to settle for a point in the English Championship on Tuesday night, scoring late at home to Reading in a 1-1 draw.
Forest had gone almost 500 minutes in the second-tier without scoring a goal before Lee Tomlin popped up to win a vital point in their fight to avoid being dragged into a relegation dogfight.
While fans were obviously not too impressed with failing to win again, they did enjoy the second half performance from Aitor Karanka’s side, believing it showed a spirit that could be the beginning of something good under the Spaniard.
Much of the praise went to right-back to Tendayi Darikwa, who has struggled for form at some points during his debut season at the club. On Tuesday though he showed signs of progress and worked hard to get Forest back into the match, delighting fans with his performance.
Can he cement himself as first-choice on the right hand side of defence?
