United's U18s played Leeds on Saturday and ran out thumping 13-1 winners. Gabriel's development has been accelerated due to his talent, and the 14-year-old was introduced as a second-half substitute, with the club 10-1 ahead. He scored twice before full-time, marking the historic occasion, as he became the youngest-ever representative of the age group at United.

In a ruthless display, Victor Musa scored a double hat-trick in the first half, and Jim Thwaites also scored a treble. James Bailey and Dan Armer were also on the scoresheet along with Gabriel. The 14-year-old has already signed with Nike, and has been hailed as having the potential to be one of the best players in the country.
