Across five impressive seasons with the Rossoneri, Hernandez made 262 appearances, found the net 34 times, and assisted 45 goals, a remarkable return for a defender. His performances played a pivotal role in Milan’s rise, including their triumphant 2021-22 Serie A title win and the Italian Super Cup victory in January 2025.
DID YOU KNOW?
According to multiple reports, Hernandez will earn a staggering €20 million (£17m/$23m) per year at Al Hilal. The club already boasts the likes of Kalidou Koulibaly, Ruben Neves, and Aleksandar Mitrovic, all experienced players with Premier League credentials. Adding Hernandez to that mix gives the squad further pedigree, particularly on the defensive flank.

Hernandez will be working under newly-appointed head coach Simone Inzaghi, who took charge earlier this summer after parting ways with Inter Milan. He is likely to make his debut in the Saudi Super Cup semifinal against Al-Qadsiyah on August 20.
