The Mbappe saga has taken yet another twist, as a new report from French media outlet has suggested that the World Cup winner has already agreed a deal with Real to move to the Spanish capital when his contract expires in the summer. It runs contrary to earlier information from that claimed Mbappe is looking into a potential Premier League move, having been left 'unimpressed' by Real's attempts to tie him to a pre-contract agreement.

Mbappe's future has been the subject of much speculation over the last few months. The 25-year-old reportedly told PSG he would not sign a contract extension before the 2023-24 season got underway, and doubled down on that claim last week, pointing out that he "has an agreement" with PSG to determine his future.
DID YOU KNOW?
Mbappe has turned down Los Blancos before. The France national team captain had supposedly all-but sealed an agreement with the Spanish giants in 2022, only to make a sensational U-turn and instead pen a lucrative deal to stay in his native Paris. The contract included a clause that would allow Mbappe to leave after two years – something he seems to have activated. If he fails to agree new terms at PSG, he could leave for Madrid for free.

PSG's star man will face a choice as to his future home in the coming months, and more reports are likely to arise about his preferred destination, with Liverpool also said to be in the running. Until then, he will likely continue to play a key role for his club, who are top of Ligue 1 and safely through to the last 16 of the Champions League.
