Per , Palace are considering Glasner's future after a dismal start to the season which has seen the club fail to win any of their first eight games. Palace have secured three points but have done so via draws with Chelsea, Leicester and Manchester United. As Palace look to potential replacements, Southgate is seen as a valid option.

The ex-England boss played for Palace between 1988 and 1995, captaining the club at the age of 23. He is available and the report claims he will be considered if Glasner is sacked, along with fellow potential candidates Graham Potter and David Moyes.
