Kane delivered a masterclass in the November 22 clash, scoring all three of Bayern’s goals. However, it was his third and final strike in stoppage time that left fans in awe in the Bundesliga fixture. As a long ball from Leon Goretzka was floated into the box, Kane produced an acrobatic kung-fu-style control with his right foot, setting himself up perfectly before nodding the ball into the net past goalkeeper Nediljko Labrovic, who stood no chance.

Kane’s goal secured a commanding 33.11% of the total votes, finishing well ahead of Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz, who placed second with 14.61% of the vote. Kane’s triumph also made history, as he became the first English player to claim the award in over five decades of its existence.
