Spanish defender Hugo Diaz joined Leeds United in 2017 from Deportivo La Coruna.
Diaz made his first-team debut for the Whites back in April, and also played for the first team against Preston North End in the Championship last month.
The defender has largely been turning out for the club’s Under-23 outfit in the early stages of this season, but could now be handed another chance with Leeds currently stretched at the back.
Diaz might well find himself in the squad for the Championship match with Bristol City this weekend, and it seems that the Leeds fans would be happy for that to occur.
Indeed, despite a lack of football at this level, Diaz has impressed for the club’s Under-23 outfit, and will be looking to take his chance with both hands, if it arrives.
The Playmaker FC squad decided to wind-up some unsuspecting Brazil fans at the Emirates on Saturday night. Watch the hilarious results in the video below…
Diaz posted a message on his official Twitter account over the weekend, and the Leeds fans were on hand to pay tribute to the Spaniard.
