One has caught the eye of Liverpool scouts after forcing his way into contention at the Championship side, according to The Sun. The Reds are now said to be "poised" to make a move for the teenager as he has the sort of "powerful" profile that is currently missing from the team's attack. Sheffield United are well aware of their young star's potential and will therefore demand a large fee for the attacker.

The 18-year-old joined the Blades last year after coming through the academy at Hamilton Accies and has gone on to make 10 appearances for Chris Wilder's side. He's already opened his account for Sheffield United, scoring against Bristol City in November, and was called into Scotland's Under-21 squad back in October for games against Belgium and Kazakhstan.
